The Goddess Diana holds a place of
remembrance in the memorial garden just inside the gate which is dedicated
to all of those from our community
who have passed from this life.

The Gazebo

The gazebo stands on the North side
of the garden looking out over the labyrinth, creating a quiet place to meditate, paint, gather in small
numbers or to relax. It is also used
by musicians during the "Music in the Garden" events and for weddings, memorial services, outdoor classes and other such gatherings.

Large green umbrellas are available to
shade the labyrinth area when the
gazebo is being used for events
and a sound system is also
available for rent.
(See Garden Rental for details)

A Labyrinth for
meditative walks and contemplation

The labyrinth is a walking meditation tool associated with ancient pilgrimage routes and rituals of self discovery. This labyrinth is from the Papago peoples of North America and is equated with the Kiva (the sacred ritual space) of the Hopi. Like all labyrinths it has a single path that leads to the center.

The arbor and small grassy area are usable for weddings and small gatherings of up to 45 people.

Kwan Yin standing on her frog
overlooks and blesses the pond and
the Garden

I am Kwan Yin, the merciful, the Compassionate.

All men and women and children and all beasts,

All creeping creatures and all flying things receive my love.

For I am Kwan Yin, the Mother Merciful, who hears and answers prayer
Ruth St. Denis

A koi pond with turtles, frogs
and the gurgling of cascading
water sits in the eastern corner
of the garden offering an
opportunity for meditation
and quiet reflection.

The Garden Sanctuary Chapel is an
indoor area available for classes,
spiritual services, ceremonies
and events.

It can hold up to 30 people comfortably on chairs and there are 30 chairs available and about the same number of zafu's and pillows.
